The Novice Group this year is supervised by longtime Dolphins Swimmer and Coach, Pirie Humphries. Coach Pirie is a fourteen year veteran of both ABSC and the Dolphins. In addition to graduating with honors this spring from Clarke Centeral High School, she has also signed a scholarship to swim with Georgia Southern in the fall.

But her swimming background is not all she brings to the table in terms of helping the Novice Group improve. Having spent several years honing her skills with the ABSC Super Sunday Learn to Swim program, where she was mentored by current Brenau University Coach, Gabby Soraggi Matthews, Coach Pirie has one of the best "Learn to Swim" pedigrees in the area.

This summer Coach Pirie will be ably assisted by ABSC Senior Team Members Alex Dempsey, Amber Juncker, Kaitlin Kasay, Joyce Lu, and Elizabeth Morris. Their swimming experience, which includes a number of individual Georgia State Swimming Titles and Academic All American awards, combined with an outstanding ability to relate to young children of all abilities, makes the Dolphins Novice Group Staff one of the best around.
